I love coming to your blog and seeing what your up to. The play of light and shadow on the banana is great, really interesting. I also gravitate to "Sarah." She's very sculptural, not flat and deliniated.
I agree, they're both really lovely paintings.
I like the way the light hitting the banana makes it seem to 'emerge' from the canvas. Ooops, sorry, 'plantain'. Still, I love that gorgeous spot of color where the light hits it.
Hi Jala, Beautiful painting of this plantain with the curve toward the viewer, deep shadows and unfinished corners. Very appealing.
The sturdiness and shape really come through nicely here, Jala. Very nice handling of the shaded parts, too.
