Mountain



A little pastel sketch which started out as a pure abstract and ended up evolving into a small mountain.

Wow, look at what happens when the golden yellow touches the blue gray! Your touches of blue that are scumbled over the yellow make a vibration. Sweet.

Glad you like it, Loriann. I also like the violet-gray neutrals that happen at the meeting points of the yellow/orange and the darker blue/violet/grays. (Really specific color language there...ha ha.) It does seem as if most of the interesting stuff comes in that area where things meet...
