Pastel pears

Aaaahh, having one's own laptop back is like coming back from a trip and being able to sleep in your own bed again.

Here are a couple of pastel versions of the recent oil pears. I had a lot of fun with them.

You know when you were talking about the bridge between realism and abstraction? You are there. These are great.

Cute little orange rumps on these. The green pear has delightful glowing color.

More pears! These are wonderful in pastel, Jala. I really liked the ones you painted last week as well - lots of character captured in simple compositions.

Sam - Thank you, you're too kind. I'm not there yet, but hopefully someday I will be.

Loriann - "Rumps"--hee hee, funny word.

Brian M - Yep, more pears. Thank you so much!
