Jaipur 3

Several of the photos were quite popular last post! so here's a reprise of sorts...
Starting with another view of Lynxie in the papasan (I think he looks like a little person in a stripey fur suit), and ending with another door on the school in Munnar.

This started as a painting-a-day blog, turned into a more relaxed art blog, then evolved into an art + animals blog, and now I guess it's turning into an art + animals + photography [which, yes, is art too, of course] blog. I don't mind if you don't.

art, animals, photography--yes to all! It is a "life blog"! Lovely! The pastels are so soothing. Thanks for sharing,

Love the evolution of your blog. And YOU are the author- you can do whatever you want.
Your inherit artistry is evident in what you paint, photograph, write and those pet babies have their own entertainment value.
Lynxie and Rumi forever.

You're getting a real good van Gogh jones for yellow going on. Have another glass of absinthe! You been slipping some into Lynxie's water lately? He looks pretty stoned, too.

Nice to see "Poopay" is so loved.

FCP - Thank you! I aim to please.

Hi Bonnie - Yeah, you're right, damn it--I'm the owner and I can do whatever I want! :)

Sam - "have another glass of absinthe": hahahahaha, you made me guffaw (a great word)! Do you think I can find organic absinthe at Whole Foods, though?

Love all 3 of these latest works. The architectural feel works so well with your style. Great texture on this first one! And really great photos! I have come to look forward to them as much as the paintings. And I always look forward to the Kitty Photos as well. That Lynx can get in the funniest positions!

Hi Gwen, thank you. It's funny, I've never been interested in architectural subjects per se, but I think what's going on is that there are so many RECTANGULAR objects, and I am obsessed with that shape in painting for some reason, even in pure abstract. I figure, why fight it? :)
Will keep posting random cool photos. :)
