Jala, I am curious about your experimenting. Are you thinking of water when you paint or is it from your head with no representation, simply joy with the medium? It appears liquid-like.

These 3 Reflections pastels, I was simply thinking about water and having fun with the medium at the same time. i.e., no real-life nor photographic reference. I'm excited to do some more experimenting like this.

these "reflection" paintings are lovely! They have such an ethereal feel to them. Kind of mystical!
I like these reflection pastels, Jala - there's lots of nice things happening with color and texture in them. Adorable new kitten, too, and it looks like he's fitting in just fine there.
