Untitled 41

Sold.

As CCR sang, "Who'll stop the rain?" We are supposedly overdue in this area for the "hundred-year flood." I'm beginning to suspect it's going to happen.

We finally got some of that last night down here... it's much needed so thanks for sending some our way.

This one is so simple and satisfying... rich colors... very nice.

But, we need the rain, Jala...you know, we thirsty Arizonans rejoice when you get rain (filling the Colorado, right?). Hope it isn't the "hundred year flood" for you, though. And, I hope you didn't have any hail damage.

Good abstract here!

p. s. You can see the quail family now.

I'm just north of Cathyann. We haven't collaborated on the ark yet, but it's tempting.
lovely colors in the pastel.

Just saw African Dance, too. (I seem to be lagging in my blog rounds). So sorry to hear about the studio roof leak. damn. That's a great piece.

Jala, so simple and elegant. I love the calm beauty of the colors against the wide mat. Good job on the framing.

Cathyann - Thanks! I don't think I know that song lyric, but it sure sounds appropriate. Also glad to hear you like Mesa--The Husband doesn't like it, but I do.

Laurel - Thank you. And you can have ALL our rain, I'll hand it over anytime.

Melinda - Feel free to take all the rain. It's all yours. Thanks for the quail pic! Awwww.....

Liz - Thank you. I think paintbrush handles and canvas might make a passable mini-ark.

Nancy - Thank you. I always frame my mini pastels this way. I want the piece to speak, not the framing. Glad you noticed, cheers!
