Untitled 3

Last night in the studio, I was a wild woman, grabbing old, smaller canvases right and left and throwing a new paint layer on top. I hadn't done much painting in the last few days and it felt like it was all saved up as potential energy, ready to be unleashed kinetically in the studio. I'm happy with all three of them I did, and will post the next two soon. Here's the first.

Jala, your energy shows in this piece, and I love the bright highlights that make this piece move. My eyes can't sit still.

This is such an exciting piece! Love that splash of bright red and the way the blues shoot downward almost mirroring the abstract texture in the red. The horizontal scrathes give it so much movement. The bright yellow next to the blue is perfect. Wonderful!

Loving this SO much! You are truly talented. Your online display is like walking into a museum of contemporary art. Pent up energy, passion, excitement, anxiety, etc. - any emotion on overdrive makes for the very best painting conditions!

Casey - Coming up soon, as soon as I get a chance to photograph them...

Vern - Thanks. Cool description.

Bill - Ditto: cool description!

Loriann - Thanks. This one painted itself. Well, the final layer did, anyway, definitely not the few previous layers.

Gwen - Thank you! I'm glad you like it.

Gesa - Thanks. :) See above reply to Casey.

Sally - You're making me blush!!!
