Back at the easel

New large abstract.

And then there's Mr. Don't mind me I'm just asleep here between the couch cushions with my adorable short stubby little kitten legs sticking out.

Oh my goodness... he is the MOST adorable kitten I have ever seen!!! I love the painting as well - so glad to see you wore him out long enough to paint.
I love the movement in this piece, and how those discrete lines move us in and through the painting. The colors are just fabulous!
I would love to exchange blog links... I have already placed you in my artists' links. Thanks for visiting me and for your meaningful comments! :-)

I love your abstracts, Jala. But I think I'm in love with your kitten.

GORGEOUS! This is my favorite Abstract of yours yet. That yellow is fantastic.
So nice of your Master to let you paint for a while. ;)

I just want to kiss that little forehead! Jala - could you post the sizes of your pieces - and the name of this adorable guy (if you haven't already)? He is definitely going to be a topic of conversation with my blogger-friends-cat-nuts Mary Sheehan Winn and Paula Villanova!

Wonderful painting. Love that patch of red that perfectly balances the greens mixed in with that yellow. if that little fluffinmuffin inspired all this color, you'd better keep him around! ...Although I bet you plan to keep him around anyway.

Joanne - Great, thanks! Cheers...

Janelle - Only fair. :)

Gwen - He owns my soul. Thanks!

Kelley - He is EXTREMELY kissable. His name is Lynx. (I call him Lynxmuffin.) The painting is 36" x 36". I try to always remember to put the paintings' size in the labels area. Cheers! (Lynx says hi to Paco.)

Donald - Glad you like it. Yep, I think I'm gonna keep the little fluffinmuffin. :)
