Oh, what a crowded couch...

And a quick video of Rumi getting moral support from his big brother, Mojito.   Mojito--the dog!--is providing moral support by way of being super tolerant while Rumi rubs against his head over and over.

Rumi needed moral support because he had to go to the emergency vet this week. (Terribly expensive, ugh.) But he is doing better so far and seems to be on the mend now. He has developed struvite crystals in his urinary tract and they have been causing him a lot of trouble and pain.

(From what I can tell, the video won't play on iphone. It also appears to be running by itself, in a loop. I didn't tell it to do that!)

Untitled 54

I'm alive!...you know, in case you were wondering. Have been going crazy with no computer for a week. You realize that almost everything you do in daily life requires a (working) computer. Have had non-stop technological difficulties. And in the end, the Apple store said they can't find anything wrong. Grrr. Will have to go back yet again to yell at them. It seems that when the battery is in the computer, the computer starts getting hot, loud, and slow.

Kind of the way I feel when it's humid, which it has been quite a bit lately.

I think I may have posted this pastel long ago but can't seem to find it nor its title. In other words, it's an older one. Have been having an insane life lately (in the early stages of launching a business with The Husband--more on that as we get farther along) and no time to paint (though I did manage to get my guitar out twice, for the first time in years). So, am off to the studio now, as soon as I click "Publish."

Have you missed Rumi?

In India.

The hotel

Sold.

I'm really enjoying exploring this semi-abstract and abstract Morocco theme. I had to order some more blue Unisons, because I was using them up...and while I was waiting for them to arrive, I used up even more (different) blues, which I am now out of. Ah, well. If only that were the worst problem people have...!

Someone got to my glasses case... Who was it?

Ah, yes, it was the baby chupacabra.
