Front Range 2

Rumi, atop the lamp, admires one of The Husband's paintings. (The Husband paints, too--mostly acrylic; occasionally encaustic.)

In Jaipur.

Boulder Creek November

A mini: 4" x 4". It's cool to see how a rough ground on panel contributes to it feeling like a print.

Lynx and Rumi in a rare (and slightly uncomfortable-looking) possessive embrace.

In India.

Front Range

Underpainting: acrylic + marble dust, somewhat sanded down, on panel.

View from inside my studio, looking out into the house (studio is connected to the house, separated by this glass door). It is so hard to concentrate on my artwork when I look over and see this winsome little face staring at me, hoping I'll come out and play.
(Taken with iPhone.)

In the Jaipur Air Palace.
