The blue-eyed brothers--the biggest cat in the house, and the smallest--have been hanging out a lot together lately.

In India (state of Bihar). This is India: colorful, dirty, chaotic, fascinating. And yes, goats, cows, and feral dogs and cats pretty much live off of the ubiquitous garbage piles.

Lovely painting Jala, very dark and mysterious. Love the kitties and also the photo from India, the boy is quite a contrast in his white clothes set against the rubbish heap. I hope the goat doesn't hurt his feet on that pile.
Hi jala
I enjoy these latest works very much.
You have also very contented pets.
Hope you are well.
Kind Regards
This painting is elegant and simple.
Love-love-love the kitty pictures!
Something about your cats that evoke such tranquility just to look at them. Gadjo is mighty handsome whether tucked into Lynx's paws or on his own. What a contrast in size these two are.
And how all of them seek each other out and create those perfect mammal piles.
Noted in your photo of India, is amid the confused rubble and errant goat, the young man looks neat and clean.
Quite a contrast.
Wow. Did you notice that this time your thumbnail is really really deep?
word verif... subco
Like, totally.
Caroline - Thanks for your comments. These dark, mysterious pastels seem to be quite popular. I think the goats there must be quite used to traipsing around on the trash piles. They practically live in them. The worst is seeing cows eating plastic while searching for scraps in it. :(
Trevor - Thanks much for your visit. Glad you like this Strata series. My pets are certainly contented, I'd say. :)
Sonya - I like these spare ones, too. I think they are more elegant than the busy ones. Glad you're enjoying the kitty pics, as always. I never ever get tired of these animolecules.
Sam - Are you lonely over there by yourself? I checked out my thumbnail on your blog--cool. Totally blank, dark square. Loved it.
