Rumi teaches Gadjo how to hunt gnats...and how to most effectively distribute soil over the house.
These are just iPhone3 photos, so not very crisp, but it was too cute to let the moment pass.

Okay, after I panned down the page past the latest yummy painting, I burst out laughing at the photo of Rumi in the clay pot. He and Gadjo look like little feline statuary units there. Hilarious set of photos!
Wonderful photo and images!
I love the rhythm of your blog: art/pet/India. Repeat. Repeat. That plus food photos would cover everything!
Hi Sonya - Buy a Rumi for your garden today!
Helen - Thank you.
Lisa - I figure, if I have three separate themes going on, I might get more people visiting. ;) Food...hmm. Have to consider that.
Love your beautiful pastels, there is a wonderful serenity about them.
On the other hand regarding cats and clay pots, my kids used them for a litter box!
The square format works really well in your wee painting Jala. It is quiet yet powerful at the same time, nice use of colour too. The cats are up to some real fun aren't they with soil all over the house!
