Purple? Get out - that is my favorite color, and those shades in particular!
The buddy photos are just priceless. Really, I have *never* seen cats that weren't related so completely bond to each other like Rumi and Li'l G have. It's out of control cute; I don't know how you handle it ;).
Zowie love that shot of purple in your painting. And the generous size of your photos. I agree with Sonya about how these cats have formed a bond that littermates don't often have. I too would spend all day just staring and photographing them. And sticking my nose inbetween their two soft join areas.
Hi Shelley - Yes, they know what it means to love.
Hi Sonya - It's very difficult to deal with such great quantities of cuteness around all the time. Hard to get anything done. Purple is one of my favorite colors too, although I don't usually use it in art as a main color.
Hi Caroline - Happy when you see my paintings or when you see my kitties? Either way, I'll take it. How great is it to make someone feel happy just by looking at something?!
Hi Sam - Liiiiiiiiiiively purple. Verrrrrrrrry purple. And the animolecules say hi.
Bonnie - Zowie indeed! Purrrrrrrrrrrple. We like purrrrrrrrrple. I'm beginning to think it's true, that Gadjo and Rumi's bond is not typical. They are virtually inseparable. And I stick my face in their bellies at every possible opportunity.
I'm a painter (and writer and Spanish instructor) living in beautiful Boulder, Colorado. I studied classical art in an ARC (Art Renewal Center) school, Colorado Academy of Art, full-time for two years, in order to benefit from the rigorous atelier-style training. I am currently dedicated to exploring abstract and semi-abstract art, working in oil and also in soft pastel. I firmly believe that all human beings are creative, whether or not they have yet found an outlet for the innate creative urge, and that the creative arts are the highest form of human expression.
