The bond between Gadjo and Rumi really is amazing. The instant Rumi saw Gadjo (who arrived by cat carrier, which was placed in the living room), he literally expressed what seemed to be instantaneous recognition, and gratitude: "Oh, thank you, thank you! You've brought me my best friend!"

It helps assuage the guilt of not adopting Rumi's twin brother when I got Rumi. The brother was equally wild and crazy (and deaf and white and cute), but not as people-oriented as Rumi. Two Rumis would have driven us all insane, frankly. He can be a handful.

A nice "found abstract." (The back of a small house in India.)

I really like this and the last painting, and so very different from each other!

This one reminds me of a foggy day along the coast somewhere. Really nice and calming.

I'm still amazed by how much your cats bond with each other. That has never, ever happened with me during the times I had 2 cats - at best they tolerated each other.

Now these are my kind of colors! Luv 'em!

None of my cats (and there have been many over the years) never really bonded either, but my puppy bonded with my daughter's cat who stayed with us for a couple of years while daughter was in grad school. The cat, a long, skinny cat, would sleep beside the warm dog who would look up at me pleadingly as if to say, "Can you make her move?"

After the cat moved back home, dog would run up to cats in the neighborhood that were the same color but then sigh and turn away. Eventually while I was moving to CA from back East, the dog got to see the cat again. It kind of broke my heart to see the dog "ooohing" to the cat, like, "Oh, there you are! You aren't dead!!""

I love it all, your pastel is great, the cats are cute and the found abstract is an absolute winner.

Cool linkage between the photo and the mono color painting. Very effective painting!

This painting is so lovely and calming and I do love blue and green, such great use of these cool colors.

I am hoping that Gadjo is doing well now. I look at your pics of your cuddling kitties and I automatically think 'it must be a bit chilly'. This is only because I've never had even 2 cats that liked each other enough to cuddle.
