Untitled 114

Pastel on PastelMat, approx. 3.5" x 4".

I've noticed that I've been painting with a lot of pinks and greens this spring, not colors I generally use often. I guess I'm being influenced by the rainy weather, which is producing gray skies but a very green and flowery landscape.

Yipee Jala is back with paintings! Yes it is interesting isn't it what inspires us to paint in the colours we choose for our paintings. With all the grey skies you must be wishing for sunny days to come. Lovely painting.

How did you know that pink and green are my favorite colors together? This gives me new eyes.

They are bright and spring-like, and of course, I'm like you about using greens...but they look good here.

All the recent cat pictures have been hugely entertaining; they give a compelling reason to own multiple fur units (this will never happen, but I can still hope;) ).

Preppies joke about the wearin' o' the pink and green. They should be so lucky to wear these gorgeous shades.

It is killer green out there, isn't it?
