Untitled 73

Pastel on Sennelier LaCarte, approx. 1.5" x 3.5".

The bottom color isn't black, it's actually a very dark brown.

Funny when I looked at the measurement I was shocked at how tiny it is. The image commands much more space.-LOVE the kitty pile!

beautiful painting.....I can not believe the bottom isn't dark green. LOVE the kitties. They are so adorable. Mine used to be like that..now they rarely sit together. Dang.

Love the minis. I enjoy seeing them framed with their fat mats, too. It's like a quick color fix, but invited you back to look again and again. And the piles of sleeping cats makes me smile every time. I don't know how you get any painting done with those entertainers around.

Loriann - Glad the image speaks louder than its size. Kitty piles = too cute.

Karena - Thanks much, glad you like the color combo.

Hi Celeste - Does it look dark green? Interesting. Either it's the monitor or else an illusion caused by the top being green, perhaps. Did your kitties grow out of it as they got older, or...?

Katherine - Thanks. If I could afford to, I'd frame them all and take pics of that too. :) I love what you say about it being like a quick color fix but one you can go back into for more looking. It's hard to get anything done with these kitties around, I tell ya.
