Heirloom twins

Why can't we all sleep the sleep of the innocent?

My neighbor-artist-friend Sam gave me these heirloom tomatoes to paint. I tried to do them justice. She was also kind enough to let me eat them when I was done.

I'm not familiar with this type of tomato. They sort of look like bells that should be on Rudolph the reindeer. Which makes me want to open some presents.

A sweet little painting... those tomatoes look almost translucent. Certainly good enough to eat!

We don't often see them up here but I have seen them and I think you got the colour just right Jala and I like how it contrasts and harmonizes with the background.

You really nailed this one Jala! They look like two jewels, and the translucency is wonderful.

Me too, Bill... reindeer always make me want to open presents, so I quickly peeked at your site and laughed my ass off. The nuns talked about hand cancer; we thought they were kidding.
Nice fruit, Jala. They taste good?
