Infamous little Cheese Monster, aka The Lynxster, aka Lynxmuffin

I know, I know--you've come here for art, and you're getting an awful lot of Lynx. It has been suggested that he get his own blog...but I can't deal... So at least for the moment, he'll just keep sharing (usurping) mine.

A partial list (in no particular order) of things Lynx has been eating off our plates (we don't normally allow that, but a) he's so damn cute, and b) he's extremely insistent/persistent:

Potatoes
Pasta
Potato chips
Rye toast with raspberry jam
Crunchitos brand cheese doodle snacks
Soy milk
Indian spiced dal (lentils)
Carrot cake
Basmati rice
Forbidden (black Chinese) rice
Oat cereal
Shredded wheat cereal
Garbanzos
Eggplant
And...cheese, cheese, cheese!

This kitten is not normal.

Jala, Lynx is adorable! I know what cat love is all about. We have fabulous, Hercules! He used to eat anything and everything, growing to 23 lbs. He would beg for bites of sweet potatoes, brocoli, and his favorite, cauliflower, to name just a few of his favorite foods. He then came down with pancreatitis, at age 12,and almost died. Our vet wanted to know what he was eating and was horrified when we told her. Thankfully, he recovered and is still with us, as wonderful as ever, except slimmer. Now he eats only perscription food from the vet and weighs 14 lbs. So be careful what you feed that little cheese monster! I would hate to hear about the same scenario happening with your little guy!

Sandra - Glad to hear you're enjoying your blog visits. Don't stop visiting, either! :)

Nancy - Wow. That's very good to know...Lynx is going in for his next round of shots in a few weeks, and I am concerned/weirded out enough by his eating desires that I'm planning on asking the vet about it. About Hercules (LOVE that name!!), I'm so glad he's healthy now! Though sweet potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower...these don't sound unhealthy. Maybe not good for a cat?? Our dogs eat fresh raw organic veggies every day... What were the symptoms of pancreatitis?
Cheers!

As I'm checking in on my Lynx fix, my cat is sitting on my lap begging for inordinate amounts of attention. Wish he spoke English so I'd know what he wants! Just want to let you know how much I love the Lynx pictures. My daughter does too!

Janelle - "Your Lynx fix" -- I love it.

Oh, Jala, he's totally adorable. Who can resist the cuteness?? Reminds me of when my Coco and Layla were mere kittens. I don't mind the kitty posts at ALL!

Well let me know when she steals a slice of pizza and eats the WHOLE thing like my Izzy! And the milk from Heart-to-Heart cereal, but no other kind....

Hey, she's so darn cute I'll look at her any day! Don't stop posting her!

This list is too funny! I guess since she's new to the world and you are her "mom" now, she thinks if you eat it, it must be good.

I have gotten so attached to her through your super cute photos. You can't stop...I'm hooked. Still laughing at the Down Kitten Yoga pose.
