Cold but colorful

Well, I know some of you are actually going OUT IN THE SNOW to paint, which makes me feel quite wimpy. So last night, while it was 2 degrees F, I figured the least I could do was crank up a few hundred dollars' worth of regular and space heaters in the art studio...and do something colorful to counteract winter.

I like the painting and your common sense.

Thanks, Bill. Yep, I'm not one of those hardy, below-zero painters...although my art studio is cold enough in the winter that I almost qualify.

I'm a fool for peppers and these are wonderful.
One time I went to Monhegan in the spring and it POURED most of the time. Of course ALL MY FRIENDS were dragging their painting gear all over the island in the freezing pouring rain and I did the same, just so I wouldn't look 'wimpy'.
Did I get a painting? Of course not I was freezing and wet and miserable. Too much discomfort to overcome! We still talk about that trip.

Thank you, Mary. I love this story. I too tend to bow to peer pressure in that sort of situation...but where does it get us? Cold, wet, miserable, and without even a painting, to boot. :)
