Untitled 139

Pastel on UArt, approx. 3.5" x 5".

-----

Fennec does a lot of impressions. You saw his flying squirrel impersonation in the last post...

Playing dead:

Ice cream cone in the sun:

Baby bird in nest:

Do these positions look comfortable?

And now for something completely different. These were an American aerial-dance troupe performing on the walls of the Golconda Fort, in Hyderabad, India.

Ha ha ha! I always love the contorted positions cats, especially kittens, can get themselves into. And with all the comfortable pillows, baskets, furniture, etc. to sleep on, you just have to wonder why Lynx takes up a slouch position against the wall.

He looks like he needs a beer and a remote (and maybe a bag of pork rinds).

I really like the aerial dance photo - amazing!

I really like this piece, 139. I also love Fennec's belly pictures, I just want to reach out and ruffle it knowing that sharp little kitten teeth would follow...
He does seem to sleep how he lands on the sofa...

The goats are Phoebe (lighter one) and Fame, they came with their names which are much longer on their papers. Goats are more like cats in personality than dogs or horses as you might think: mischievous, curious or nosey, strong-willed, affectionate on their terms.

Can't get enough of that blue and green. GORGEOUS! I am always astounded when I see how small they are. They are so well done that I think I've viewing a much much larger (say 4' x 8') painting. Just incredible!

Your Rubber Kitties continue to amuse! Sooooooo CUTE!
