Spinning wheels dressed in saffron

At the weaving cooperative in Hyderabad, India. This yarn is not ours--it's for a different client of theirs, and it's not naturally dyed--but it looked magnificent, like the sun had come to rest inside a building. (Artists: look at the lovely reflected light!)

-----

Today is the first day in weeks that it's warm and the sun is out. (And no Rapture, either.) Yay! These two photos are from a few days ago. The furry little heat-suckers.

The yarn is really beautiful Jala thanks for sharing. Incredible to think it is a natural colour too.

Mark - Thank you, and yes, they are. Thanks for visiting.

Caroline - No, this is not our yarn; this is for a different client of theirs and is NOT naturally dyed. But it is beautiful to look at.
