Too funny! We had a blanket for the cats - they got on one at a time. No. 2 squeezed in beside No. 1, who had a case of "stink eye" about it. I folded it out larger, so now they share nicely. They are so funny!
Lovely colors in this... that intuitive process really works! As for the animals, I think they have some insitinctive drive to cozy up and be cute. Probably earns them a little belly scratch and a treat sometimes, too, I bet.
Jeanette - Isn't it fun and amazing how one can go down multiple magical art rabbit holes on the internet? :) I enjoyed my visit to your blog as well! Cheers.
I'm a painter (and writer and Spanish instructor) living in beautiful Boulder, Colorado. I studied classical art in an ARC (Art Renewal Center) school, Colorado Academy of Art, full-time for two years, in order to benefit from the rigorous atelier-style training. I am currently dedicated to exploring abstract and semi-abstract art, working in oil and also in soft pastel. I firmly believe that all human beings are creative, whether or not they have yet found an outlet for the innate creative urge, and that the creative arts are the highest form of human expression. Hi Leslie - I can totally picture the expression on your cat's face.
Donald - Hi, thank you. I love this one too. Yep, the animolecules definitely have an instinct for being cute.
Jala, I discovered your blog from rabbit holes that I went down and am delighted to find your work.
Your signature shots of horizonal and vertical colours are magical, as are your animals. I shall link to your blog on mine so I can find my way back.
Funny how they all think they must be in one spot as it whoever got there first found treasure. :)
Hey Jala,
I like number 88 but I really like number 87.
Awesome!
