I've been so busy lately that I haven't had much time in the studio. It felt great to grab a piece of LaCarte today and just go at it.
They look to me like they were having a conversation and then someone made a faux pas (faux "paw").

Very pleasing - I love red the best.
This is fabulous, Jala! Love those rusts and reds. It does have a very Southwestern calmness to it. Mexican Blanket is a very fitting title.

Hi Rahina, thanks. The lines I draw into the "horizon line" on these paintings always have to be done super fast, or they don't look as good. Doing so is always at risk of ruining the painting, but it's a worthwhile risk.
