Untitled 52

I'm obsessed by these minimalist "archetypal landscapes." And pastel seems an ideal medium for them.

This position just kills me with its cuteness.

And something else all wrapped up...betel leaf in Munnar (for chewing paan).

Keep obsessing, this is just stunning. And pastels do so lend themselves. Rich and full. Beautiful as are the photographs. Each one you've posted from India is a piece of art!

Every your post is such a present for my eyes. Pastels are the pieces of art, Rumi is every time special, and your third photo is always the inspiration source. Please go on, I need these posts :-)

The blues are really intense and I really like your abstracted landscapes. I like the suggestion of land, water, and sky...

eLIZabeth - thank you. There's something endlessly compelling to me about the simple division into 3 parts, and how that says landscape to us.

Stunning painting!
Enjoying the antics of Rumi throughout your blog.
Loved to see the box of wooden textile stamps. I collect them for their aesthetic beauty and seeing them like this gives me an idea of how to display them.
