Day moon 2

The other day I spotted my friend the day moon again...

Good news arrived today: I have been accepted into the Boulder Open Studios tour for October of this year. It's the first time I've applied for it and it should be interesting (if tiring). If you're in the area, it would be great to meet you and have you stop in. More detailed info as the date approaches.

In India (where else do you get this sort of color?).

Your day moon (like your clouds) is absolutely stunning!

Those kitties are too, too, much.

Congratulations on getting into the open studio tour. I might have to travel to Boulder just to attend!

Have you fessed up to the promoters of the tour that it will also include tummy rubs for Lynx and photo ops for Rumi and Lemon?

That whisper soft moon is just the way it shows here in early morning before the sky can decide if night is over or day has begun.

We'll all be waiting to see some photos from the tour.

Hi Loriann, thanks, it's October. Good thing it's far away...my studio needs a complete organizational overhaul.

Carol - Thank you, what a nice thing to say!

Hi Bonnie - You mean I have to BLOG the TOUR? Egad. I hadn't thought of that.

Hi Caroline - Thanks. Since it's pastel, hard to say what colors they were. Light blue, off-white, and some kind of butterscotch color on the bottom. :)

This takes my breath away. The beautiful, quiet, strong simplicity is stunning.

And hearty congratulations to a well deserved honor! Wonderful news. If I'm in the area, I'll be there!

Suzanne and Astrid - Thank you so much. Lovely words, much appreciated. Astrid, it's pastel.

Astrid - P.S. I don't know if you saw my "Day moon" post a while back. This is the second one. Do a search for "Day moon" on my blog if you didn't see the first one.
Cheers.

Ooooooh! You have painted one of my favorite sites...a daylight Moon. You really captured it's illusive mystery as well as the calm beauty high in the sky. LOVE it!

Big congratulations on the new honor! Keep toying with the idea of blogging the tour. Your photos are always so great.
