Untitled 150

Pastel on PastelMat, approx. 3.5" x 7".

With help from The Husband and from the Apple Store, I have a new hard drive in my computer and am (mostly) now back in business. Did you miss me?

...Or did you, rather, miss the animolecules?

It has been so awfully hot here. Very ready for fall.

Fresh catnip (it grows outside).

Those of you who know me know how much I detest insects, spiders, creepy-crawlies in general.

I was out on the deck the other day and saw the animolecules all staring at something that was crawling on the dog bed. One of the most disgusting bugs ever--like a mutant wasp or something. I knew photographic evidence would be required. Fortunately, the animolecules showed good sense and didn't get too close.

SCARY bug! With wings and stinger, I would have stayed away but the animals are curious. You were brave to photograph it. I think it could have carried Fennec away. Monstrous!

Glad you're back up and running. Sorry to hear about the stress. Aaargh. Some days are worth a good groan or two, a growl will help, too. Direct it any direction you need to!

Grrrrr, little scutterbugs, ewww, mosquitos are what are getting us these day - glad to see the animolecules are respectful. Hoping your computer issues are better. I had to get a new one myself.

Yay you're back, you've been missed. I really love the colours in this one but I confess I have been looking at it upside down as I like the cheery blue on top and the solid red violet at my feet. Of course this could just be the blood rushing to my head... Have a great day :o)

Soft and snuckley doggie chops.... I've found my new pin up. Is that Jazz or Mojito? Too cute.

Pam, thanks. It is unconscious.

Hi Casey, thanks.

Katherine - Thanks, I like your whole comment. Grrr--monstrous!

Tina - I hate all bugs. That definitely includes mosquitoes. I also hate technology, generally, because it fails so much.

ELFI - Dangereux et laid! Je deteste les insectes. Mais j'ai vu que vous en avez un maintenant dans votre blog!

Thanks, Lisa. Those soft doggy chops belong to Mojito, though Jazz's are equally soft and cute. :)
