Wonderful photos of wee Gadjo the expression on his face is so funny. He is wondering what you are doing. Beautiful painting I love the sea green within the band of colour, it goes so well with the rest of the painting. A lovely peaceful work.

Nice arrangement of blues in this one. Works well with the wider "strata" band as well.

Gadjo looks like a little imp in those photos. An imp with captivating blue eyes. I just want to pick him up and hug him.

Hi Jala,
It's been fun going back through your blog to see what you've been up to! These pieces are deceptively simple - but visually so powerful!
Beautiful :)

Helen, thanks much.

Caroline - thank you. I too adore that expression on his face. Such an imp. Glad you like the peacefulness of this piece.

Sonya - Thanks. You guys are good noticers; I think this might be the first one where I had a much-thicker strata band. The imp is too cute to be believed. But he usually cops an Attitude when you try to grab him and hug him and tell him how adorable he is.

Hi Jane - Nice to "see" you, thanks for coming by. Thanks for the compliment. I like to think they are that way: deceptively simple. Cheers.
