Front Range 2

Rumi, atop the lamp, admires one of The Husband's paintings. (The Husband paints, too--mostly acrylic; occasionally encaustic.)

In Jaipur.

This isn't your first "front range", is it? I think I really liked the other, too. More!

Nice warmth and gentle colors. I love the photos from India, too. The tropical decay and slightly run-down look is like a painting with many layers and brushstrokes that the elements have created, yet clearly showing the hand of man.

Hi Susan, thank you. I do love the serenity of minimalism. It does have that restful quality.

Hi Tina, I think he's a great artist...I'll pass on your compliments.

Hi Sam, did you mean that literally or was it a riff on "This ain't mah first rodeo"?

Hi Donald - I agree about that look of "tropical decay" being attractive...I like to look at it but don't care to live in that climate. :)

Hi Suzanne - Thanks for your persistence! Will pass along to The Husband as well.
