Elizabeth, thank you. Interesting how people see those minis and think they must be very large. I'd try for a larger version but have never had any luck "repeating myself."

Hi Gwen - Thank you. Those are the strange coconut-related things (not quite coconut) that The Husband ate in one of the videos I posted in India. Slimy translucent lumps inside are eaten--I didn't care for it at all!
Okay, I just had to come back and say that even though cats aren't capable of much in the way of facial expression (and that's mostly thru their ear position and eyes), it's just so clear that Rumi has the "I'm in LOOOVE" face going on - that's the look of total adoration. It's just so damn cute to see, even when it's not your fur-unit that's wearing the face!

Hi Sonya, I loooooove his I Looooove You face. :) And it's true, technically they don't have as much range of facial expression, but they do have some distinct expressions. This is one, and the one that always cracks me up is when they look astonished and appalled at the same time.

I love reading about the antics and comments about your cats..... Actually I think of this as Rumi's blog! It is strange that I also thought this pastel was far larger than it is. It is very beautiful. Maybe one day you will try something similar on a huge canvas.
