And now for something completely different (as they said on Monty Python)...
These are some awesome shots from The Husband. (Yes, he's an artist too: acrylic, encaustic, photography; though he makes his living as a management consultant, which generally pays for my art supplies.)

The Husband is a great photographer, Jala. Very cool.
Cool landscapes from the husband.
Brilliant photos! They have energy and atmosphere and of course movement. Very talented eye!
Can we not use pronouns? Your husband can click a shutter!!!!
Very evocative images and in their own right, reminiscent of some of your abstract pastels.
And he uses a similarly rich and elegant field of color.
Looks like he has things "well managed " indeed.
So you are both amazingly talented! What a cool couple ...
Husband, are you listening? They like your photos. :)
These are terrific, Jala. Atmospheric and "moving", so to speak. You'd better get him his own blog so we can see more and tell him ourselves!
I love them too, Donald. I was wondering if you'd get a kick out of seeing a little photography on this site... :D If you go to the link on my blog called Haiku Expeditions, that's my husband's site, lots of his photography on there (but not manipulated).
The HubLet here...
Thanks everyone. There pictures were taken from an iPhone in the Midlands UK. Eerie, Made me think of Blair Witch Project. :)
I don't like doctoring pictures. Neither these nor any of the ones on haiku expeditions are.
The Haiku Expeditions (http://www.haikuexpeditions.com) website will go through a revision/update soon. With more haikus and pictures.
Need to travel more!
I missed a few posts, here. Gosh - what a talented pair you are! Love the mysery, mood and feeling of speed. I live 15 minutes from Burkittsville, MD (home of the Blair Witch ;-)). A good friend has his studio in an old church right at the main intersection of town.
wow--these are exciting images! thanks for posting them! they'd really be interestig to draw, too.
