Copying Sargent's Emily Sargent

From last night, copy of Sargent's Emily Sargent. Done in about 1 hour with the space heater running...we've been in the midst of a slush blizzard (that's the only thing to call it) for about 3 days. You'd think "great painting weather," but it's very cold in our home studio. AND the roof sprung a leak. Not happy.

This is very nice. Great modeling on the face. Have faith, the cold will end.

Hi Jala...I visit your blog almost every day. I spent an enjoyable time visiting your website: your work is truly excellent, texts an also your photos ...everything is beautiful.I've linked your blog to mine, take a look at my post "blog award II'.There are artists that don't like this award stuff, etc, ok, but.. it's just a link, it's my pleasure to link your blog. Hope you like it. All the best for you!

Don't let Diddams fool you! (:
The snow will Never end!!! (obviously he's not a CO native)! (Last snow day last year: May 14)

I shoveled slush all yesterday, too. Sorry to hear about your roof leak! You were brave to work in a cold studio... and you made a very nice study of Emily.

Sorry to hear about your crazy Spring weather and the roof leak. Bad combo.
You study of Emily is beautiful though.

(p.s., I hope diddams knows I was only cranky from the cold, although faithlessness in nature is my nature.)

and, of course, a gorgeous day today!
